I've been training with Devlin since 2011, when I joined Washington Sports Club and was lucky enough to be paired randomly with him for an introductory training session. I've been training with Devlin since and cannot say enough good things about him. I've trained with him in different formats, including one-on-one sessions, sessions with a friend, and small group classes of up to 12 people. Regardless of whether we're one-on-one or in a group class, Devlin always keeps his sessions interesting and makes sure you're working your entire body (with great music to keep you motivated!).
My training goals have changed drastically over the years, moving from weight loss to strength-building. No matter a person's fitness level or goals, Devlin gives everyone the same support and motivation. Starting out on a fitness routine can be scary, but Devlin makes it so much less intimidating and more attainable. At the same time, he knows when he can push you harder than you're pushing yourself, and because of that, you'll see the results you want. I've recommended many friends of varying fitness levels to him. Everyone who has trained with him has had nothing but glowing reviews, both about his skill as a trainer and about the positive and encouraging attitude he brings to each session.
